I am back for Week 2 of my 52 week journey with some fabulous gals from The Bloom Forum! This week’s word inspiration is little.
Little. The dictionary offers several definitions. Among them: small in size; not big. Younger or youngest. Endearingly small or considered as such. As I have little ones running around my house, this week’s word brought me to them. And I settled on this image, ultimately, because of the paradox it presented. Because little is relative. At four and a half, she is little to me. Her tongue still trips over words every now and then. She can’t reach anything of note and is perpetually in need of assistance. She can pull off pig tails. But not everything about her is small. She is a little sister (but a big one too). And despite her diminutive size, she is big in personality and attitude too. She is stubborn as a mule and wickedly funny and sometimes you can’t help but laugh in spite of yourself. All of that, packed in a little body. My little girl.
